Caroline (she/her/hers) is both an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California.

She recently graduated with her M.A. from Pacifica Graduate Institute, with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, and Depth Psychology. Therefore, she has psychodynamic training. She utilizes her psychodynamic training in her work with clients, along with somatics and Internal Family Systems. She is also open to pulling in other therapeutic modalities, including Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

She wrote her M.A. thesis on exploring death anxiety with the use of psilocybin mushrooms through a depth psychological framework. She has a curiosity with utilizing psychedelics in the therapeutic container, such as psychedelic integration, and is open to working with mentors for additional support and training.

Caroline has experience counseling individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, self-worth, grief, attachment issues, and substance abuse while integrating sociocultural factors into each client’s story.

She is currently honing her skills under the expert supervision of Estela Bobadilla, LMFT, at Alba Center Marriage and Family Therapy in San Diego, where she provides psychotherapy.

When Caroline isn't working with clients, she loves to unwind with friends and family, dive into a good book, practice yoga, soak up the sun at the beach, tend to her garden, and explore new places through travel.
